You get both Backup and Sync Functionality: JustCloud provides a scheduled backup that will backup your files to a safe off-site location but it also provides you with a sync folder(10mg by default) that will allow you to select files that you can sync between multiple computers. No more manually syncing files to multiple computers or carrying around flash drives! It’s as easy as dragging and dropping a file into your sync folder, or right clicking on the file and selecting the "Add to Sync Folder". Plus you get both functions for the same low price.
Unlimited Backup: They are one of the very few companies still offering an unlimited(storage) backup option. While other companies such as Mozy have eliminated their "unlimited" backup option all together, with JustCloud you can still get an unlimited backup option. We are disappointed that they have implemented a 3GB single file size limit however.
Private File Sharing: JustCloud provides the ability to share files, photos, folders and a whole lot more with family and friends by inviting them via Facebook, Twitter, email or even a custom link you create yourself. Collaboration just got a whole lot easier.
File Versioning: By default JustCloud will keep 7 days worth of versions of a file for you, but this can be changed to 30 days or unlimited if you wish. So if you accidentally delete a file… no worries you are covered with JustCloud.
Web based file viewing: Don’t have access to your PC but need to view a file? No problem, you can access your files from any web browser or smart phone using JustCloud’s mobile website.
Excellent 24/7 365 Day a Year Customer Support: JustCloud is shooting for the best customer support team in the business. They are available to help customers with any advice and support they need. Currently customer support is available via email, their knowledge base, and video tutorials. Once you sign up for a paid account, you will receive an email with the phone number to contact tech support directly. So phone support is now available as well.
No File Type Restrictions: JustCloud gives you the ability to backup any file you choose, regardless of what type of file it is. This means that you can backup things like music, video, pictures, documents, executables, graphics and any more you could possibly think of.
Secure and Safe: JustCloud uses industry standard 128-bit file encryption for transferring and storing your data. This is the same technology used by banks for financial transactions. They also utilize full server mirroring – which means their servers are duplicated to another completely separate data center. No Support for Linux: Sorry Linux users, as of this time JustCloud does not currently support Linux.
No Mobile App’s: Currently JustCloud doesn’t have app’s specifically designed for use on any of the mobile devices such as the iPhone, Android or tablet devices. They also don’t support syncing to those devices at this time. Currently access via these devices is limited to using JustCloud’s mobile website. Although the workaround of the mobile website does allow for viewing and working with files, we do hope to see mobile app’s being released from JustCloud at some point in the near future.
3GB File Size Limit: We are disappointed to report that JustCloud recently implmented a 3GB single file size limit. So the largest file you can backup with JustCloud is now 3GB.

Just terrrible. I tryed to unistall it, but it keeps blocking me from doing just that. And, the free trail all they do is prester you to upgrade. Plus, it didn’t have many features at all. Stick with drop box.
JustCloud has saved me more than once! Most recently, I accidentally deleted a group of outlook emails. When I realized what I had done, I went looking in JustCloud and there they were! What a relief. With a few clicks my emails were back where I needed them!
JustCloud has backed up my files easily and quickly, and restores are a breeze! I would highly recommend them.
This justcloud.com is “garbage”!!!, so far I have been using it for 38hrs and all I have uploaded is 19gis, and I have been hitting the upload tab on the little app that is on their site, it’s very crapy. the little program will stop uploading every 3.5 hrs. I have 2megs upload and on mediafire I upload a 995meg video file in a little over 63min. Also emailed them twice and they have not gotten back to me. I guess I will be doing a charge back to get my money back.
I came across JustCloud out of desperate necessity. The first online backup service I used was Carbonite. It stopped working, support couldn’t fix the problem, and I had a lot of files at risk. The second one was LiveDrive. Faster than Carbonite, but absolutely horrible in every other way. Finally, with a few days to go before my computer’s system was totally trashed, I tried JustCloud.
On the last two days before reinstalling, JustCloud was the only program that my computer would even run, and it ran perfectly and uploaded my files very quickly. After reinstalling my system, I started the restore process (downloading my backed up files). After three days, Carbonite hasn’t finished creating the folders to download my files into; LiveDrive has slowed down to a crawl, and may take a few more weeks to finish; JustCloud finished after 1 day, and it had more of my files on it than either of the other two.
I rate it 5 stars on all areas that I can rate. I didn’t rate customer service because I didn’t need it. I’d rate the other two companies’ customer service near zero (although Carbonite at least tried before they gave up and wouldn’t respond to me anymore).
So far, I would highly recommend JustCloud to anyone who wants a quick, reliable online backup.
I love this program already and I’ve only had it a matter of days! Already I’ve contacted the support team and had helpful and fast responses from them, which was something I was worried about when dealing with e-mail support. My favourite thing is probably the auto sync feature which means I can set it to sync my files and never need to do anything else, great for a forgetful person like me
This is the first cloud company I’ve ever used, so can’t really compare them to anyone.
So far I love it! I used JustCLoud first to back-up a few picture albums which synced pretty quickly, then went on my mates PC at his house and could see everything in my cloud, as well as add to it when I was in my account. Also I was price hunting for a while and JustCloud was the cheapest I found, as well as promising me unlimited back-ups, which I’ll find out for sure when I put more stuff in my cloud (apparently some companies block the back-ups after a certain limit is reached??) but I was promised Unlimited so this should be what I get.
What does it for me the most though is how simple it all is to use, and according to their blog there’s going to be a drag and drop feature which instantly syncs your files so it’s going to get even better! Like I said I haven’t used any other sites so don’t know if this is better or worse than any others but so far my experience has been perfect with these guys, I wouldn’t look any further!
Justcloud is DEFINITELY limited and not unlimited. I signed up and paid for a year then read reviews which scared me into thinking it’s absolutely ‘LIMITED’.
Worried I tried to get even a written statement from support saying they’d allow me to back up 500GB and they said it’s well over what they can handle – that I needed to find a better business grade backup solution.
This is strange considering many new PCs have 1-2 TB built in and users could reasonably be expected to have a 50-75% full HD – if so, why can’t we back up all this data from ’1′ hard drive with an ‘unlimited’ home backup solution?
They had no answer except whether I’d be happy to cancel for a refund.
