HP To Offer Norton Online Backup on All PC’s
Hewlett-Packard Co, the world's biggest PC maker, has announced an agreement Symantec Corp, to distribute it's Norton Online Backup services. With this move, Symantec is looking to expand its consumer business beyond its line of Norton security products. In a release dated June 11, Symantec said that starting in September, HP will ship all of it's consumer desktop and notebook PCs with a trial subscription to Symantec's internet-based PC backup service, Norton Online Backup.
